Our Mission: “Providing HOPE, HELP and HEALING for victims of crime; including family violence, sexual assault and child abuse.” Our services: 24-Hour Crisis Hotline 24-Hour Victim Assistance and Crisis Counseling Safe Shelter for Victims of Violent Crime Counseling by a Licensed Professional Advocacy by Specially Trained Professionals Criminal Justice Support and Advocacy Human Services Information and Referral Support and Therapeutic Groups Crime Victims Compensation Assistance Medical Accompaniments, Protective Order Assistance, Safety Planning
VOLUNTEER ADVOCATES: Advocates allow CTFS to serve victims 24 hours a day through a Hotline phone service and direct Victim Assistance. Without volunteer participation, the needs of our community could not be met.

Other Volunteer Opportunities: Hotline: Volunteers assist by phone only, providing crisis intervention, information and referral to victims. Victim Assistance: Volunteers may be called out by local law enforcement agencies or the hospital to provide immediate crisis intervention to victims and family members.
On-Call Shifts: Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. or Friday 5:00 p.m. through Monday 8:00 a.m. Volunteers work on-call by an agency beeper on a week or weekend schedule, once a month WHY VOLUNTEER? BECAUSE in 2008 our agency served 368 new clients BECAUSE 231 of these clients were from Stephenville. BECAUSE 73 of these clients were from Dublin. BECAUSE 64 of these clients were from the surrounding area. BECAUSE your efforts can help victims become survivors in your own community. BECAUSE our volunteer program is certified by the office of the Attorney General.
