The following is a list of presentation types:
Victim Services Training – training efforts that benefit victim service providers and volunteers to better provide direct victim services.
Professional Training - training efforts that benefit professionals, including management and human resource management, to better understand violent crime issues and its effects on the workforce or to obtain a higher level of knowledge about Cross Timbers Family Services as a referral. Or training that impacts the skills of professionals interacting with victims/survivors. These professional groups may include but are not limited to: 1) law enforcement; 2) medical professionals; 3) the judiciary; 4) district attorneys; 5) clergy; and 6) teachers.
Community Education – is an age and culturally appropriate presentation about violent crime issues delivered by trained staff or volunteers to the community. Community education presentations are designed to inform general audiences.
Volunteer Training – is training about violent crime issues provided by trained staff or volunteers designed to impact the skills of volunteers providing direct services and interacting with victim/survivors.
